Drawing inspiration from Explorers Club member and aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, this jacket is a beautiful recreation of the kind Earhart wore in the 1930s. Archival images on this page show Earhart next to her Lockheed Model 10-E Electra, dated March 1937 in Oakland, California, wearing the same flight jacket.

The Explorers Club version, made of luxurious brown calfskin leather, offers both durability and rugged style. Details include two large patch pockets with top entry flap closures, additional side entry pockets, knit cuffs, and knit waistband. In addition to these unique design features, you’ll find a fully embroidered Explorers Club patch on the upper right sleeve. As you explore the interior you’ll find a silk lining with khaki canvas pocket. Inner chest and back panels feature The Explorers Club “Membership” label and “Famous Firsts” applique, both hand screen printed.
